What I learned in Philly today

cookiesBy Stephanie Weaver, Visitor Experience Consultant

I was walking back from the Academy of Natural Sciences and saw this great sign. Who knew that Girl Scout cookies were a Philadelphia invention? Philly is the home to so much incredible history... plus local sites like Historic Yellow Springs allow you to get immersed in our nation's history. Yellow Springs has the only Revolutionary War Hospital (now in ruins) founded by George Washington to treat soldiers from Valley Forge.

That's what's so great about getting to AAM or the upcoming WMA conference in San Diego... not only do you get to network with old friends and make new ones, you get these wonderful little slices of life along the way.

This is very cool...and I am, as always impressed by the expression of talent, intellect, skill we possess within WMA. Hope all are having a great time in Phillie.
