The Manager of Marketing and Communications is a member of the senior leadership team and responsible for all marketing initiatives that favorably position the museum and its activities, as well as facilitating audience and visitor growth in support of the museum’s mission and goals. This position serves as the liaison to the Office of Marketing Communication and the College of Performing & Visual Arts at Southern Utah University.
This position requires a confident, highly organized person with great communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, creativity, and enthusiasm. This individual must possess a working knowledge of AP style, marketing trends, and understand how to deliver targeted messages to different audiences through social media, print, and digital outlets.
The Manager of Marketing & Communications reports to the Director/Curator and is a 12-month position. (The option for an 11-month contract is negotiable.)
