The Benton’s new building allows for all 15,500 objects in the permanent collection to be housed together for the first time, and its new study room facilities allow for unprecedented access to these holdings, which include approximately 6,000 works of Native American art, 5,000 works on paper—prints, drawings, and photographs—as well as European and American painting and sculpture.
