Job Description: 

What you will be doing:
You will get to lead and supervise the work of the education and public programs team at the WSHS, focusing on interpretive programs for members and the general public, educational aspects of museum exhibitions and programming, curriculum/education resource development, school programs, and educator programs/trainings, all aimed at activating the Washington State History Museum’s exhibitions, as well as other strategic goals for the Society. This includes the management of budgets and tracking expenditures, procurement for public programs and education/curriculum, and programmatic aspects for support of the Society’s strategic goals.

In this position, you will utilize knowledge of museum best practices, established by the American Alliance of Museums and work with the Director of Audience Engagement for the development and oversight of long-range program plans. You will engage in program development, conceptualization, design, scheduling, delivery, and evaluation, together with supervision of education and programs staff whose job it is to carry out the planned programs and projects.

Full Time with comprehensive benefits package.
$55,524- $72,756 per year.
