The role of the Science Interpretation Program Supervisor is to facilitate and promote exceptional and engaging interactions between floor staff including volunteers and Pacific Science Center guests that inspire curiosity, discovery, and critical thinking. This role works with the Science Interpretation team to support employees and volunteers in the Science Interpretation and Discovery Corps Programs to deliver consistent, excellent interpretation. In addition to supervising educators and volunteers, responsibilities include coordination of daily and seasonal operations, overseeing and conducting training for staff and volunteers, providing educational program support, research and creation of content and materials in a variety of subject areas; providing excellent customer service to our staff and guests. Oversees the creation and delivery of programming including the materials, technology and content of planetarium programming.
