The Justice Kennedy Library and Learning Center offers civic education field trips for Northern California. Located in the Robert T. Matsui US courthouse, the library is part museum, part classroom and event space and court library. We see several thousand students a year and need help researching cases for court observation, assisting in the museum, docent tours and our one week teacher development program in the summer as well as other projects. Most tours are from 9-1:00 for schools . Help needed 1-2 days a week when tours are scheduled; very flexible. If you are interested in law, social justice, civics education, law enforcement - this is the perfect internship. We also have beautiful art and architecture as well. We work with the 9th Circuit Historical society on traveling exhibits and other projects.
