Program Perspectives: Narrowing the Focus of Exhibitions

What I love most about designing exhibitions is the opportunity to tell stories in three dimensions. For me, individual exhibits become backdrops for visitors to immerse in different parts of a larger story, where objects and interactives function as props that engage bodies, minds and feelings.

Once upon a time in a land far away, there was a museum with many objects that could not be shown. These objects were placed into storage for safekeeping. The museum curators kept collecting and there were more and more objects coming into the museum. As if by magic, the storage areas were able to house the objects with out any problems and the registrars and collection managers were happy........

Capping Off WMA 2013 at The Church History Museum
