Mystic Museum of Art - Executive Director

The Mystic Museum of Art (MMoA), a cultural institution with deep roots in the historic art colony of Mystic, Connecticut, seeks an experienced, strategic, and community-focused Executive Director. Founded in 1913, MMoA operates a vibrant waterfront museum and art school offering exhibitions, classes, and outreach programs. The Museum has a $1.2 million operating budget, a $2.7 million endowment, a professional staff of nine, and a committed Board of Directors. The Executive Director will lead strategy, fundraising, operations, and community partnerships as MMoA finalizes a new strategic plan and facilities master plan while updating the Museum’s brand. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing institution with a strong local identity and expanding regional presence. Salary range $120,000–$160,000 plus benefits. EA/EO.
