WMA is pleased to offer three Morning Events as a way for attendees to connect with each other and to gain a sense of BALANCE. Before Annual Meeting Sessions commence, attendees can begin their day with refreshing hikes and outdoors explorations (before the heat sinks in!).
The greater Tucson area, on ann alluvial plain in the Sonoran Desert, sits along the Santa Cruz and Rillito Rivers, sandwiched between five mountain ranges: the Santa Catalina Mountains, the Tortolita Mountains, the Santa Rita Mountains, the RIncon Mountains, and the Tucson Mountains. For the WMA2024 Annual Meeting, our headquarters is nestled in the stunning foothills of the Catalina Mountains. Finding Balance - A Nature Walk with Mike Murawski
Take some time to slow down and connect with nature. The goal of this morning walk is not to go far, but rather, to engage more deeply with everything around you in a very short distance. Led by Mike Murawski, Co-Founder and Owner of Art | Nature | Place, you will be invited to breathe, engage your senses, and immerse yourself in the spaces around you. And then bring this keen sense of observation and intentional looking to your remaining conference experience.
