The Rockwell Museum of American Art is seeking a talented leader to chart new pathways for growth and engagement as its next Executive Director. The Rockwell is an AAM-accredited Smithsonian Affiliate with a strong reputation for an outstanding collection of art of the American West, Contemporary, Native American, and African American art. The incoming Executive Director will demonstrate passion for The Rockwell’s vision of creating pathways for understanding the history and evolution of America through art. They will also be an exceptional strategic thinker, team builder, fundraiser, networker, and leader adept at translating vision into action. Operating budget $5.5 million, endowment $5.5 million, 19 staff, 18 Trustees, 35,000 visitors. Salary range $175,000 – $210,000 plus benefits. EA/EO.
