The Charles M. Schulz Museum, a non-profit museum in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a Collections Manager. Our 27,000 square feet facility showcases the comic art and legacy of Charles M. Schulz and the Peanuts comic strip collection. The position is responsible for the care of original artwork, objects, and archives pertaining to the life and art of Charles M. Schulz. Supervising two Archive staff and two Registrars, this position will focus on acquisitions, preservation, maintenance, and tracking of collections for use in exhibitions and research. We are searching for a detail-oriented candidate with hands-on collection experience and excellent communication skills. Also a member of the in-house exhibition team. Degree in Museum Studies, MLIS or related field, five years of collection experience and supervision of staff required. Salary $71,000 annually.
