Western Museums Association Annual Meeting:
October 9th – 12th, 2012 – Salt Lake City, Utah
Whether you drive, bike, fly, or walk to Salt Lake City next October, your participation in the WMA Annual Meeting will bless your life and career and make a great difference for your colleagues as well. In order to share your best ideas and practices with your colleagues, we invite you to submit session proposals on the 2013 Annual Meeting. The best time to do so is when the memories of the meeting in Palm Springs are fresh in your minds. Please consider proposals that:
- Challenge outmoded traditions
- Introduce promising innovations
- Refine best practices
- Expand professional horizons
- Illustrate rewarding connections
- Build on the best offerings of the 2012 program
Because it is best to formulate 2013 proposals while the 2012 meeting is fresh, we have set November 16 as the deadline for submitting session ideas for next year’s Annual Meeting. Everything you need to submit a winning proposal is found on the WMA website. Follow the link provided below to download the Session Proposal Forms. Also available are Proposal Guidelines to help answer your questions.
If you haven’t recently been to the “crossroads of the West,” you are in for a pleasant surprise: rebuilt city center, ambitious historic restorations, remarkable museums and performing arts facilities, and diverse restaurants and night spots, to begin with. Your participation in the conference will be engaging and your experience with the city and its surroundings will be rewarding.
We look forward to seeing you in Salt Lake City, October 9-12, for the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Western Museums Association.
