Traveling with kids to WMA’s 2024 Annual Meeting in Tucson?
To increase accessibility for museum professionals with families, WMA is providing a space for children to feel welcome.
WMA Kid Zone: Partnering with the Children’s Museum of Tucson and Oro Valley, WMA is providing a free-of-charge Kids Zone at the Annual Meeting.
Location: Near the session rooms, the Kids Zone is a space to play or relax, filled with children’s exhibits from our partner, books, and toys for a range of ages.
In addition, the conference location at the Ventana Canyon Resort includes a family-friendly nature trail and a variety of outdoor experiences. If an attendee is traveling with an additional caregiver, the caregiver will be given a “family badge” at no charge. Should you need additional support, the hotel partners with a local non-profit babysitting service that can be arranged at the Concierge Desk.
